Isoperimetrical Polyforms 

If, instead of considering area, we look at perimeter to define sets of shapes then we get a number of interesting sets of pieces. These sets do not have the parity problems of the normal sets. Also there is usually a wide range of multiple constructions to be made with a single set since there are no area restrictions on the various individual shapes.
